“Songs of Nature” with Jessica Lee

Join us for the musical portion of Earth Day at the Carnegie Carnegie! Acclaimed jazz and blues vocalist Jessica Lee, known for her soulful blend of classic, contemporary, and crossover styles, will present “Songs of Nature.” Pianist Rick Gallagher and saxophonist Eric DeFade will accompany Jessica
Jessica Lee is an American jazz and blues singer with a unique voice influenced by jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, and inspirational music. She has produced shows with innovative, customized themes for various venues nationwide. Her recorded songs have been featured on multiple international vocal compilation albums, and she has released five solo albums, with plans to release several new live recordings in the coming years. This performance is part of the fifth annual Earth Day at the Carnegie Carnegie celebration, scheduled for April 26 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event will feature games and eco-crafts, food, and various environmental education activities. Other participants include Hoshi Hibachi, Rachel Carson Homestead, Mystic Mamas with live chickens, the Carnegie Shade Tree Commission, Attawheed Islamic Center, Salvation Army Chartiers Valley Service Center, Steel City Amateur Radio Club, Carnegie Crafters, and David Brunco, who will be offering demos of the En-ROADS climate simulator.
The event will take place outdoors, weather permitting, and inside the building if necessary. Landau Building Company generously sponsors this celebration.
