- The deadline to register to vote in the May 16 election is May 1.
- The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is May 9.
- The deadline to return your mail-in or absentee ballot is 8:00 PM on May 16.
The 2023 Primary Election takes place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The polls will open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM. Voting will take place in the Lincoln Gallery on the building’s second floor.
There is ample parking for voters around the building. There are handicapped parking spaces near the ramped Studio entrance. Please enter through the Music Hall entrance and take the elevator or stairs up to the Lincoln Gallery.
The Library will be open for its regular 10:00 to 7:00 hours. Stop in and say hello! Voters are encouraged to visit our rare Civil War room, the Captain Thomas Espy Post, adjacent to the Lincoln Gallery, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
