Important Dates

  • The deadline to register to vote in the May Primary Election is May 5, 2025.
  • The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is May 13, 2025.
  • Satellite election offices are open for early voting on May 10-11 from 9am-5pm. Satellite offices include CCAC Homewood at 701 N. Homewood Avenue; the County Office Building at 542 Forbes Avenue; North Park Ice Rink at 1200 Pearce Mill Road in Wexford; and South Park Ice Rink at 30 Corrigan Drive in Bethel Park.
  • Voters may return their completed absentee or mail-in ballots at ten ballot return sites that will be open May 16 from 11am-7pm; May 17-19 from 9am-5pm; and May 20 from 11am-7pm. Ballot return sites include Allegheny County Emergency Services Building at 150 Hookstown Grade Road in Coraopolis; Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge at 901 Centerview Drive in Plum; Carnegie Public Library – Squirrel Hill – Marlborough Entrance at 5801 Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh; North Park Ice Rink at 1200 Pearce Mill Road in Wexford; South Park Ice Rink at 30 Corrigan Drive in Bethel Park; Dormont Pool at 1801 Dormont Avenue in Pittsburgh; CCAC – Homewood at 701 N. Homewood Avenue in Pittsburgh; Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank at 1 N. Linden Street in Duquesne; Avalon Public Library at 317 S. Home Avenue in Pittsburgh; and the County Office Building at 542 Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh.

The 2025 Primary Election takes place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The polls will open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM. Voting will take place in the Studio on the building’s lower level.

There is ample parking for voters around the building. There are handicapped parking spaces near the ramped Studio entrance. Please enter through the ramp door and take the elevator or short flight of stairs down to the Studio.

The Library will be open for its regular 10:00 to 7:00 hours. Stop in and say hello!
