Smalltime: An Afternoon with Author Russell Shorto

Join author Russell Shorto for an intimate reading among the contemporary fine art of downtown Carnegie’s Firebox Art Studios! Sip wine as Mr. Shorto reads from and discusses his 2021 book Smalltime: A Story of My Family and the Mob. Based on a true family history of organized crime in post-war Johnstown, Smalltime draws an intimate portrait of a mobster and his wife, sudden riches, and the toll a lawless life takes on one family.
This program will take place at Carnegie’s Firebox Art Studios at 110 E Main St.
