Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra (PJO) was founded in the early 1970s by Dr. Nathan Davis, saxophonist and Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. PJO, an intergenerational ensemble featuring premier jazz musicians from the Pittsburgh region, has received accolades ever since. This evening’s quintet will include:
