Join our reading and discussion group about race & identity at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall! We’ll read and discuss Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, an Oprah book club pick that explores America’s hidden caste system.

This four-part series meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM, in person at the Library:

  • Tuesday, September 21: Discuss Parts 1 & 2 (pages 3-98)
  • Tuesday, October 5: Discuss Part 2 (pages 99-166)
  • Tuesday, October 26: Discuss Part 4 (pages 167-262)
  • Tuesday, November 16: Discuss Parts 5, 6, & 7 (pages 263-388)
