Adult Programs

Embracing Our Differences

Join a conversation with your neighbors in exploring the many ways we experience race in the United States.  We’ll read and discuss Mira Jacob’s acclaimed 2020 book “Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations,” which explores all kinds of diversity through conversations between the author and her six year old mixed-race son.

This group will meet weekly for four consecutive weeks, starting the week of June 14. If you are interested, please fill out this form by Monday, June 7.

PALS Book Club

The PALS Book Club brings senior adults together for lively book discussions. Members meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM, and membership is free. Participants may pick up a copy of the current selection at the library Circulation Desk. Please contact Katie Byerly if you would like to join the group.
