Our collection of books is always growing and changing. When new books come in, older books must find new homes! When librarians remove older books from our collections, we call it “weeding” – and just like weeding a garden, it helps keep our collection healthy, relevant, and engaging.
This week (July 19-24), we’re giving away dozens of
picture books that we’ve weeded from our collection – yours to keep, for free! Browse the table in our entrance lobby and take whatever you like. We love it when our older books find new life on someone else’s shelves!
