Resonance Works’ 14th season opens with An Anchor in Time, a concert featuring our Resonance Chamber Orchestra, Festival Chorus, and soloists. Gilda Lyons’ An Anchor in Time, originally commissioned for Resonance Works’ 10th anniversary season, looks at where we’ve been and where we’re going. It’s paired with Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite, which explores America’s tension between tradition and change, and a choral time capsule, with music spanning centuries from Monteverdi to present day.
