Our monthly Studio series continues with Mimi Jong & Tomas Lozano
Join us for a mid-week happy hour in our ‘urban hipster’ Studio space as Mimi Jong and Tomas Lozano unveil the Pittsburgh premiere of a new collaboration, 2Thousand. Tomas Lozano, performing the Spanish Hurdy Gurdy and Mimi Jong, performing the Chinese Ehru (both instruments with a history longer than a millennium) tell the story of a dragon and a phoenix, born from each end of the world in the ancient time when, in the minds of the people, the world was flat.
Doors open at 6:00 pm || Concert begins at 6:30 pm
