Grand Opening of Library Park
April 23, 2022 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Join us for a celebration of the long-awaited opening of Library Park! The day kicks off with a Highland piper on the steps at 11:00 and wraps up with a free concert at 3:00 by the BGVs featuring timeless hits from Motown through today!
Activities in between include:
– Crafton Community Farm will oversee seed planting
– Double Dutch Swing Squad will dazzle with interactive demonstrations (12:00)
– Carlynton students have designed games with environmental themes
– Studio Forget Me Not has wonderful art activities
– Carnegie Borough provides face painting and caricatures by Jeff Keenan
– Our sidewalk obstacle course returns
– Carnegie food vendors with free treats from Scoops!
