Community Blood Drive with Vitalant

All donors can receive a free summer “blood type” t-shirt, plus a $20 gift card! (See below for official eligibility requirements.)

To be eligible for this T-Shirt promotion:

• Donors must have an online donor account created and be opted in the Donor Rewards program to receive this T-shirt.
• Donors who present to donate July 1-11, 2026 will receive a customizable T-shirt.
• Within two days after the donor donates or attempts to donate, the T-shirt will display in the store after the donor logs in to their donor account and then enters the store. Donors need to select the text they want on the shirt (either pre-set options or custom) and their size, then complete the checkout process to place their order. o Donors who don’t qualify (didn’t donate/attempt to donate during promotional period) will NOT see the T-shirt displayed to them when they access the store.
• The donor will be notified in the post-donation Thank You email (deploys 2-3 days after donation date to donors who are opted in to receiving emails) that they qualified for the T-shirt and need to log in to their donor account/enter donor store to order it.
• There are no points associated with this T-shirt; however, donors will earn their regular donation points if they are opted into the Donor Rewards program. The bonus points will be added to the donor’s account approximately 7-14 days after donation.
• Last date for donors to redeem T-shirt in online donor store: 8/6/2026 o On 8/7/2026, the T-shirt will no longer appear to qualifying donors as an item in the store.

Fulfillment / Notification for $20 Rewards Gift Card with Code:

• Donors must have an online donor account created.
• Donors must OPT IN to the Donor Rewards program to receive and redeem points.
• Donors must use code JULYGIFT-2026-V when scheduling to receive an additional 1,550 bonus points to redeem for a $20 Rewards gift card.
• Donors who schedule an appointment without using the code, but who come to donate and mention the code (JULYGIFT-2026-V) can call the CCC at 877-258-4825, option 2, to be included on a list of donors who will manually receive the bonus points.
• Rewards program bonus points (plus regular donation points) will be added to participating donor accounts approximately 7-14 days after donation.
• When bonus points are available, donors can redeem them for a $20 gift card of their choice in the online donor rewards store (accessed through their donor account).
• After redeeming points, order confirmation email comes from rewards@vitalant.org with the subject line “Vitalant Rewards Order Confirmation”
• Actual e-gift card email comes from Vitalant Rewards – noreply@tangocard.com with the subject line “Your Vitalant reward is here!”
• Coordinators who are donors and use the code JULYGIFT-2026-V will receive enough bonus points to redeem for a $20 Rewards gift card (if they presented to donate during the promotional time frame and are opted into the Donor Rewards program).
