Chickens in the Carnegie Carnegie!

Learn about the care and keeping of chickens with this special 3 week series! Patrice from Mystic Mamas will bring chickens to the Library each week as we explore the lifecycles of chicken and urban farming. 

Week 1 will explore chickens in the city including urban farming and the life cycle of a chicken. 

Week 2 will explore the various breeds of chickens.

Week 3 will discuss eggs.  Learn about how chickens lay eggs and even taste some freshly cooked eggs from the flock! 

This program is intended for children and families. All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
