Carnegie Arts Walk

Experience the Arts Walk and discover local, regional, and national visual and performing artists, and the vibrant Carnegie arts scene! The Library will have a table at the Sun Dial, at the corner of Main Street and Broadway. Join us all afternoon for two fun crafts:

Make a Watermelon Fan! Kids of any age can color, cut, and glue to make their own watermelon fan – perfect for keeping cool as you enjoy the Arts Walk

Blackout Poetry! If you can read, you can make blackout poetry. Start with a page from an old book; pick a few words on the page that form a poem; then black out the rest. You’ll be surprised at the poetry you can find hidden in the text!
