Understanding Muslims & Arabs: A lecture with Ray Milhem

Islam is a Global religion. Many people in Western countries don’t understand it and fear it. This can lead people to feel cautious, careful, or fearful of Islam, or in some cases, avoid it altogether or hate it due to a lack of knowledge on the topic.
In this illuminating yet clear presentation, join Ray Milhem for an exploration of the basics of Islam; its relationship with other religions; and the tight coupling of Islam and Arabs, comparable to the role of Christianity in the West.
The Holy Land (Palestine) was the birthplace of Christianity and Judaism. Islam was “born” in the Arabian Peninsula (modern day Saudi Arabia), but it has many strong connections to the Holy Land.
We will also discuss “Extreme Islam” and its similarities to “Extreme Christianity” and “Extreme Judaism.”
