Carnegie Carnegie Family Performances brings kids and their grown-ups together for live music and storytelling from some of the best performers in the Pittsburgh area. Geared toward young audiences but enjoyable for all ages, each show is an engaging introduction to seeing the arts live.
“Music Beyond Sound” is an insightful music presentation invites audiences to experience the music through guided listening and live performance. The jazz quartet is the subject and demonstration vehicle that will show how this music functions structurally, symbolically and emotionally. This music also exemplifies how its universal connection to the world inspires youth and adults of all ages. “Music Beyond Sound” will include audience participation. Background music and performance by Lee Robinson & ISKA.
