Hello! I’m thrilled to start this new year in my new role as Executive Director of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall.
Since moving to Carnegie in 2020, the Library & Music Hall has been an important place to my family and me – a cozy place to read and play on a cold day, a relaxing stop after a long walk through the business district, and a close-by spot for an evening out. I feel lucky to live in a community with such a great asset, and I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute my time, energy, and talent more fully to this special place.
My background is in placemaking and community building. I am joining the Library & Music Hall after a decade of working in community development in Wilkinsburg and Pittsburgh’s North Side. At the Library & Music Hall, our mission is to build community, and I very much look forward to continuing to do just that.If I haven’t yet, I hope to meet you soon at one of our upcoming events or activities.
