Diane Klinefelter has returned to her role of library director at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall after a three-year hiatus.
She is returning to a position she held from October 2006 to March 2012 and maintaining her role as part-time curator of the Grand Army of the Republic’s Capt. Thomas Espy Post No. 153, which houses Civil War artifacts and is inside the library. Klinefelter will work with executive director Maggie Forbes.
She has authored written books about the Civil War and is a professional genealogist.
Nate Wyrick, who had served as the library’s interim director since June 2013 is resuming his position as assistant library director and will oversee the day-to-day running of the library.
