The Pittsburgh Savoyards present – Ruddigore

Gilbert & Sullivan’s satirical take on the Victorian melodrama follows the Baronets of Ruddigore, who are cursed – each Baronet must commit some kind of crime every single day or else he will die in agony and the curse will be handed down to the next in line. When Sir Ruthven tries to escape his destiny and leave the curse to his younger brother the ghosts of Baronets past force out of him out of hiding and back into the role of daily criminal. Now he must figure out a way to lead an honest life and make everyone happy…but how?
