Nandanik Indian Dance Troupe invites you to their annual Dance for a Cure to raise funds for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Join in honoring cancer fighters, survivors, and thrivers and celebrate life together in and evening of Indian music and dance
Nandanik’s Artistic Director, Nandini Mandal, a Mt. Lebanon leukemia survivor and fellow cancer survivors will Dance for a Cure along with CMU Bhangra, Nrityamala of U Pitt, Naina RoyChoudhury Green and Courtyard Dancers, Shobhita Ravi and Natya Kriya and Nandanik’s Dancers. Bollywood song numbers by Akshay Hari, soulful rage on Veena by Sowmya Srinivasan and pieces on the piano by Marielle Brown.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Relay for Life Pittsburgh Chapter.
Tickets include a pre-show reception in the Lincoln Gallery with refreshments and food available for purchase.
