24 Hour Play Fest: A Fundraiser for Dani Girl at the Fringe
Playwrights, directors and more than 20 actors will gather on one day to create six, one-act plays in 24 hours. It’s an exercise in theatrical survival, one that brings together a huge community of theatre professionals throughout the Pittsburgh area to explore just what can happen when creativity is on a time crunch.
Performance on April 17th, 7:00pm in the Music Hall

This is a benefit to present the moving musical Dani Girl to an international audience at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in the summer of 2016! With your help, a talented and dedicated completely Pittsburgh based cast and crew will travel to Scotland to perform this musical at the most famous theater festival in the world!

The Authors:
Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics) received the 2013 Fred Ebb Award, a 2010 Jonathan Larson Grant and are the first recipients of the Lorenz Hart Award. Between them, they have received the Burton Lane Award, the Harold Adamson Award, the KC/ACTF Musical Theatre Award, a NYFA Fellowship, and numerous ASCAP Plus awards. They are graduates of Carnegie-Mellon University.
