The President’s brain was removed in order to obtain the fatal bullet and determine the track of the ball. However\, the physicians who were present contradict each other in documenting the bullet’s final location in the brain. \n\n\n\nThis lecture will describe the autopsy and examine the differing medical recordings of the event. \n\n\n\nBefore entering private practice three years ago\, Dr. Mathew Lively spent twenty years as a faculty physician at the West Virginia University School of Medicine where he conducted patient care\, teaching\, and research.
