DESCRIPTION:FINAL FOUR WORKSHOPS!\nThanks to Laura Jean McLaughlin’s fabulous design and the efforts of dedicated community artisans\, the mosaic mural for Library Park is becoming a thing of beauty!  Over the course of ten workshops\, the mural has evolved into a model public art project\, with participants coming from Penn Hills\, McKeesport\, Apollo and Wheeling\, as well as Carnegie and environs.\n\nFour additional workshops have been scheduled.  \n\n\nSunday June 3 (1-4)\nTuesday\,  June 5 (6-8)\nSunday\, June 10  (1-4)\nThursday\,  June 14 (6-8)\nNewcomers and old hands are welcome\, but please register in advance.  Contact Maggie Forbes at 412-276-3456\, x. 8 or forbesm@einetwork.net.\n \n\n  \n\n       \nCelebrated Pittsburgh artist Laura Jean McLaughlin has designed two fabulous mosaic murals that will become very public\, outdoor art in Library Park.  The Library & Music Hall\, Carnegie\, Pittsburgh and parks everywhere inspired Laura Jean’s art. \nThe murals will adorn two low walls – 53 and 64 feet long. Park goers will use these walls as benches to eat their lunch\, read a book or commune with nature.
