DESCRIPTION:Monday\, February 20\, 2017 | 7:00 pm\nClick here for tickets \nHistory Center Leader Narrates Aaron Copland’s\nLincoln Portrait \nwith Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra\nFebruary 20\, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.\n\nAndrew E. Masich\, President and CEO of the Senator John Heinz Regional History Center takes the podium to deliver Lincoln’s memorable oratory the ACFL&MH’s annual Presidents Day concert. Copland’s stirring tribute to our 16th President concludes a concert performed by the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra\, led by Warren Davidson.  Mezzo soprano Katherine Soroka joins the Orchestra to sing a selection of Copland’s Old American Songs. \n A dessert reception in the Lincoln Gallery follows the performance. The Lincoln Gallery and the ACFL&MH’s rare Civil War room\, the Captain Thomas Espy Post of the Grand Army of the Republic will be open on Presidents Day from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.\, then again after the concert.  \nTickets are $15 in advance\, $20 at the door\, $5 children/students with I.D.
