DESCRIPTION:Jazz Stories with Mark Strickland\nHosted by Thomas Wendt \nThis event has been postponed until further notice.\nWe will update our website as new information becomes available. \n  \nOur first Jazz Stories concert features guitarist\, Mark Strickland.\nMark began playing in Pittsburgh in 1963 and currently maintains a full-time performance schedule as a Jazz guitarist. Mark is also an accomplished sound engineer and dedicated music educator with a private studio for motivated students. \nEarly in his career\, Mark was influenced by Jazz and R&B legends who appeared in our region’s renowned Jazz clubs like the Crawford Grill\, the Hurricane and the Roosevelt Theater; we’ll let Mark tell you more about that… \nJoin us mid-week and unwind as Mark Strickland and his trio bring you some great stories and classic Jazz guitar music inspired by the likes of Wes Montgomery\, Kenny Burrell and Grant Green. \nDoors open at 6:30 pm || Concert begins at 7:00 pm\nTickets: $10 \n  \n
