DESCRIPTION:The Carnegie Carnegie welcomes Alcosan for a hands-on chemistry program for kids! In this program\, students will experiment with different solutions to create a chemical reaction. \n\n\n\nThis event is a part of our Summer Science Series. Please register for each program separately\, as space for each is limited. Please read on for more information before registering: \n\n\n\n\nDate & time: Monday\, June 29\, 1:30 – 2:30 pm\n\n\n\nLocation: in the Lincoln Gallery\n\n\n\nAge limit: must be age 6+ to register\n\n\n\nEvent capacity: 20 children. Please register each child individually using this form. Parents & caregivers who wish to stay for the event do not need to register; we will have extra seating available.\n\n\n\nCancellations: Since registration is limited\, if you need to cancel your registration before the day of the event\, please reach out to us by phone at (412) 276-3456 so that we may reopen your child’s seat to others on the waitlist.

SUMMARY:Carnegie Carnegie Youth Chess Club with Queens Gambit Chess Institute
DESCRIPTION:Youth from ages 5 and up are invited to join us at the Carnegie Carnegie for an 8-week Chess Club series\, presented by the Queens Gambit Chess Institute. \n\n\n\nWhether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned chess player\, all ability levels are welcome! \n\n\n\nEach session will include guided learning with a trained QG coach\, as well as open play time. Work on your chess game\, build confidence and strategic thinking skills\, and enjoy playing with others in a supportive\, hands-on environment. \n\n\n\nYou are not required to attend all 8 sessions. More sessions may be added in the future. \n\n\n\nParents and caregivers are invited to stay and learn alongside their little one. If a grown-up is not staying for the duration of the program\, please plan to pick up your child promptly at 6 pm. \n\n\n\nQuestions?
