Walking Around: Poetry, Photos and Paintings

November 2, 2017 @ 12:00 am

Thursday, November 2, 2017 | 7:00 pm

Returning for her 6th poetry reading and art show at the Carnegie Carnegie, Bernadette Kazmarski is a fine artist, photographer, graphic designer, poet, and Carnegie resident. Through her unique lens, Bernadette observes Carnegie and the natural world in her latest collection Walking around: Poetry, Photos and Paintings.

Readers of the Signal Item may have appreciated the wonderful pictures that are part of the Library & Music Hall’s section of the insert – most of them have been taken by Bernadette Kazmarski. Looking up into the spectacular foliage of ger “Autumn Rainbow” on the most recent cover is breathtaking. Two of her poems have also been featured on the Prairie Home Companion website feature “Stories from Home.”

Join us for a lovely evening of art inspired by the beauty in our own backyard.
