March 25: 11:00am – 5:00 pm

The Carlynton Community Arts Extravaganza takes place Friday and Saturday, March 24- 25 in the ACFL&MH’s lower level Studio. The exhibit will showcase work by Carlynton artists in grades K-12. Student musicians will perform throughout the weekend as well.

More than 90 pieces will be on display in the Studio. At least 36 students will perform over the two-day event.  There will be solos and duets from 5th & 6th grade instrumentalists as well as a trumpet ensemble, brass ensemble, woodwind ensemble, and percussion ensemble from the High School.

Entrance to the Arts Extravaganza is via the ramped entrance between the Library & Music Hall entrances to the facility. The exhibit is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. The artwork will remain in the Studio through Sunday, April 2 when the ACFL&MH is holding a special community open house that concludes with a 3:00 concert performed by Rhythm in Blue, the Air Force’s 18-piece jazz band.
