Join us for our 3rd annual A Very Carnegie Christmas – a cabaret style sing-a-long spectacular that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
This family friendly performance truly has something for everyone: whether the traditional Christmas carols have a special place in your heart or the jazzier tunes get your mistle-toes tapping!
Headlining the performance is Janette Schafer, known to ACFL&MH audiences for her appearances with One O’Clock Monday, the Pittsburgh Savoyards and Stage 62. Janette’s broad vocal talents range from opera to rock-n-roll – she’ll offer our contemporary selections with favorites like Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
Randi Daffner is no stranger to the Carnegie Carnegie stage either; she can often be seen performing with our partner company, The Pittsburgh Savoyards. Randi’s classical training will lend to more traditional selections like O Holy Night.
Maureen Renihan recently returned to Pittsburgh after releasing her jazz album, Softly. You guessed it, Maureen will round out the program with feel-good Christmas jazz standards like, My Favorite Things.
Accompanying our lovely soloists are Rebekah Hill (keyboard) and Greg Jones (guitar.)
